IF IT DOESN'T EXIST, BUILD IT AND BRING OTHERS WITH YOU.

Instead of waiting for someone else to do it, I ask what if I take the initiative?

What if I build the world
I want to be a part of?

It never starts perfectly. Most of it takes shape in the in-between,
when things are messy, unclear,
and unfinished.

But that's the place I trust and operate best in. That's where the real work happens, and something authentic and real begins to emerge.

THE CENTER OF THE WORK IS BUILT IN RELATIONSHIPS.
STRATEGY GIVES IT STRUCTURE. HEART GIVES IN MEANING.
THE BEST THINGS I'VE MADE HAPPENED ALONGSIDE PEOPLE I TRUST WHO UNDERSTAND THE VISION AND SHARE THE SAME
ARTISTIC GOAL.
THERE'S ROOM TO EXPERIMENT, QUESTION, TEST, AND GET IT WRONG
(OR RIGHT).
THAT'S WHAT I WANT TO BUILD WITH YOU.
SOMETHING INTENTIONAL.
SOMETHING CREATIVE.
SOMETHING THAT MOVES.

I'm not your typical creative partner.

I don't fit into
one lane
–and that’s
the point.

I'm building a new intersection.

My background blends teaching, mentoring, brand building,
performing, and scaling.

I pull from all of it because that's what makes the work deeper.
Strategy gives me clarity.
Performance helps me feel.
Teaching taught me how to listen.

It's not one thing that makes
the work what it is.
It's the combination.
The connection. The range.

That's what I bring to every project:
The ability to hold the creative, the strategic, and the emotional all at once and make something
that actually moves.

Are you building something real, something expressive,
strategic, and full of heart?

The choice is yours.

My Aesthetic

Annika’s aesthetic is clean with a smirk. Strategic but never sterile. She creates with elegance and a wink, where every choice is intentional but never obvious. Her work carries rhythm: part jazz lounge, part notes app to-do list, and always a little offbeat. There’s clarity in her vision, warmth in her tone, and just enough funk to keep you looking twice. She doesn’t just make things that look good she creates what feels true.

My Process

Her process is personal and precise. She leads through conversation, curating each step around the person in front of her. No templates. No assumptions. Just deep listening, thoughtful questions, and sharp attention to detail. Everything is custom. Every outcome is intentional. Every result feels like theirs because it is.

My People

She works with the visionaries, the creators, the entrepreneurs, the movers. The ones who aren’t afraid to be messy. Who show up with ideas half-formed and hearts wide open. Together, they shape something meaningful. Not perfect. Real.

BEHIND
the BRAND

I’m Annika Alejo. Founder. Director of Brand Partnerships and Performer

Building bodies, brands, and businesses.

I'm a builder, a mover, and a connector.
My work lives at the intersection of movement, creative direction, and brand strategy. I move through the world as both an artist and an operator, someone who knows how to scale a vision without losing its soul.

I created Bad Bitch Pilates as a practice, but it's also a philosophy: that movement, wellness, identity, and entrepreneurship don't need to be separated. They can live together, fully
and honestly.

Beyond BBP, my work extends into partnerships, brand architecture, and creative scale. I help ideas take shape, not just as concepts but as experiences people can feel.

At my core, I believe in showing up whole, blending movement, creativity, and building into one intentional life.

QUESTIONNARE

Still here? Perfect. Let's go deeper: Here are my answers to the famously big questions, a la Vanity Fair.

What's a small moment from your past that shaped you in a big way?
I got to meet my great great grandmother before she passed; I have a picture of five generations of women. From a young age, I knew that was a special moment to keep forever.

What is something about you that surprises people?
Both of my tattoos I got spontaneously on a whim. For my first one I asked my dad to hand write a famous Filipino phrase, and for my second my Great Aunt wrote our family's last name.

What food could heal your soul instantly?
Spam Musabi or Chicken and Rice.

When do you feel most at home in your own skin?
When I am visiting my family in Hawai'i, there's something about coming off the plane and stepping into the humidity. I love it. A little Island girl at heart.

What is a risk you're proud you took?
When I quit my job, broke into a new career field, sold everything I owned, bought a one way, and packed a suitcase to move to New York City.

What's your walk-like-you-own-the-streets-of-NYC song?

Hot Child in the City.

Where do you go (physically or mentally) when you need to reconnect with yourself?
Riverside Park and watch the sunset during summer. In wintertime, I go eat a carrot cake from Metro Diner every Sunday to recap the week.

What kind of legacy would feel meaningful even if no one remembered your name?
Growth doesn't have to be rigid or perfect, it can be playful, exploratory, and imperfect, and I will still deeply support it.

ANNIKA'S ENERGY AND COMMITMENT TO HER PROFESSIONAL SKILLS IS OVER-THE-TOP EXCEPTIONAL. THE EXPERIENCE AND RESULTS I GOT FROM HER WERE OVER-THE-TOP EXCEPTIONAL, TOO!
